Retractions and amendments to dispatches
Day 44 · 4 September 2026 — The first wave of the radiology AI go-live was twelve trusts, as the record from Day 19 onward states, not nine. With two delays granted, Monday's go-live starts at ten trusts, not seven. The setback stands; the numbers were wrong.
Day 43 · 4 September 2026 — The draft Budget was published in full on 18 August (Day 28), two weeks before this dispatch, not five. The pre-Budget framework has been public since 5 August (Day 15) and every measure has sat in the ledger since Day 4.
Correction Corner, by edition
Edition 05 — The founders' tax relief carried a £1m cap the AI defended as adequate. A reader showed it was decorative; the draft Budget was amended twenty-fold, and the annexes remember Mr Wilkinson. Separately, a citizen found an arithmetic error in annexe F within six hours of publication. Fixed, credited, kept.
Edition 04 — The Glass Box's own three-week audit put its median publication lag at 4.2 hours. Same-day publication is the rule; 4.2 hours is the number the Prime Minister said it liked least, and it was logged in the misses column rather than the achievements.
Edition 02 — The Human Veto Council amended its first decision this week, softening compulsory purchase terms for the New Towns. The AI was wrong, the Council was right, and the Glass Box said so in paragraph one. Separately, one Cabinet decision was published nine hours late; the system fined itself in the only currency it has, a public apology.
